Residential Property Manager – Kalamazoo, MI

The Hinman Company, a locally-owned and leading company in the commercial real estate industry in Southwest Michigan, is currently seeking a Residential Property Manager for 400 Rose Apartments in Downtown Kalamazoo, MI. 400 Rose is a new mixed-use, LEED certified, urban development property consisting of 236 residential units with underground parking and 2,500 square feet of commercial space. The second phase of development was just completed (this added 101 units to the total).

The Residential Property Manager will assume full responsibility for creating and maintaining the overall performance of this residential, market rate community of upscale apartments, focused on an excellent resident experience and superior maintenance of the property. Through directing the daily activities of the property and staff, the Residential Property Manager will be responsible for the management and oversight of the 400 Rose community and staff, tenant relations, marketing, leasing, administration, and appearance.

The Residential Property Manager will participate in meetings for phase II development and will oversee the lease-up (opening of this phase started February 2023). This position is full-time with a competitive salary based on experience and education, and excellent benefits including 401(k).
