Making Way for Something Better

Hinman acquired this distressed former fitness club building (The Charlevoix Club, Centennial Park in Cascade Township) last year from the lender. Unfortunately the deferred maintenance and functional obsolescence of the building led to its removal.
Ripping out flooring between the basement and the first floor. The basement had locker rooms and a sauna.
Hinman owns the office building next door (3040 Charlevoix Drive). The removal of the building allows Hinman the option to expand parking for the 3040 Charlevoix building, expand the 3040 Charlevoix building by 24,000 square feet, or accommodate a new free standing building.
3,000 cubic yards of fill were brought in to fill in the area. This was the final step in the process.
